NAMI Homefront Education Program

The National Alliance on Mental Illness offers the NAMI Homefront Education Program on Thursdays, 9:30-11:45am, September 20 – November 1. This is a free, six-session education program for family, friends, and significant others of military and veterans with mental health conditions. It focuses on the unique needs of this community, such as post-deployment and post-discharge transitions.

The course teaches family members how to understand and support their loved one while maintaining their own well-being. The trained teachers of this course are also family members who have experience with military culture and know what it's like to have a loved one living with symptoms of a mental health condition.

Pre-registration required by calling Ms. Pam Solomon with NAMI at 212-684-3365, ext 218.
