On November 10, The 9/11 Memorial & Museum presents United States Marine Corps' 242nd Birthday.
TBD: United States Marine Corps will lay a wreath at the memorial’s Survivor Tree in honor of the Marine Corps 242nd birthday, followed by a solemn reading of the Commandant's birthday message to the Marine Corps.

Additional 9/11 Tribute Museum Veterans Day events:
The 9/11 Memorial & Museum pays tribute to our country’s veterans during Salute to Service, a special five-day tribute honoring veterans, active-duty members of the military and their families. From November 8 to 12, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum will host numerous events and special programs for veterans and their families, as well as the visiting public. Throughout the tribute, veterans will receive free museum admission. Veterans will also receive half-price museum tickets for two family members during the tribute.
