Columbia 50+ PTSD Study

Columbia University and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine are seeking people aged 50 or older with PTSD symptoms for a study investigating how trauma affects the aging process.

Are you interested in how your brain and body are aging?

New tests allow researchers to measure a person’s biological age. Biological age can be younger or older than actual age and is linked to healthy functioning as a person grows older. Psychiatric conditions such as Post-traumatic Stress Disorder can affect biological age.

Eligible participants will receive financial compensation as well as measures of their biological age, including brain scans. If interested, call at 646-774-8697.

This research study is being conducted at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University Medical Center.
