Helping Veterans Transition to Civilian Employment

Community Training and Employment Resources (CTER) present the Helping Veterans Transition to Civilian Employment program, March 18-23. This program is designed to teach veterans and members of the national guard and reserve from the New York City area the practical job search skills that will enable them to make a successful transition from the military to the civilian workforce. CTER is offering a concentrated, short term, sharply focused training program that consists of a one-day orientation session and five days of classroom-training, followed by job placement assistance, long term mentoring by business professionals, and post placement career management workshops held on Saturdays.

To register, call 1-800-385-2837 or email Mamie.

CTER has numerous job opportunities for veterans and their family members.  Openings range from entry level to middle management in a variety of industries and fields, including telecommunications, real estate/property management, banking and finance, health care, social services, security, hospitality, procurement, food service, accounting and more.  These positions include career paths and benefits. We also have part time and seasonal positions.
