Long Island State Veterans Home hosts a Benefits & Resource Event on April 29, 9am-1pm. Representatives from a variety of federal, state, and local service agencies will be present to distribute information and answer your questions.

Experts in the field of VA benefits, managed care, Medicaid, housing, home care, assisted living, legal counseling, mental health, long-term care, banking, burial arrangements and more will be on hand. In addition, representatives from VA Eligibility and enrollment will be on site. Free health, dental and vision screenings, free blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose checks will be performed by Stony Brook Medicine Schools of Nursing, Social Welfare & Dental Medicine.
