New York Human Rights Watch Film Festival

The New York Human Rights Watch Film Festival is excited to present Almost Sunrise on June 13 at Film Society at Lincoln Center at 6:30pm. The film is about two friends who embark on an epic trek on foot across America in order to seek redemption and heal from the moral chasm opened up by their experiences in combat. Their odyssey across snowy mountains and vast deserts inspires an inner journey that culminates in a remarkable spiritual transformation – and the film captures an unprecedented portrait of veterans.

You can check out the trailer and buy tickets here. There will be a Q&A with the director, producer and two film subjects after each screening, and if you are able to bring along ten or more people to a screening we can arrange a discount for the group.
