NYC Veterans Alliance Lunch & Learn - Paid Family Leave

The NYC Veterans Alliance hosts Paid Family Leave for Military Caregivers: What's in the New Law on November 2, 12:30 - 2pm. Veterans, family members, caregivers, and service providers are welcome to attend an informative "Lunch & Learn" talk highlighting the new New York State law going into effect on January 1, 2018, that will provide new Paid Family Leave policies to enable loved ones to spend time with those called to active military service and alleviate the pressure of working and caring for a child while a loved one is away. The law also applies to caregivers of veterans meeting certain eligibility criteria.
