National Geographic hosts an exclusive screening of The Long Road Home at AMC Empire 25 in Times Square on November 5, 7pm. The film is based on the New York Times best-selling book by Martha Raddatz which chronicles the events of April 4, 2004, when a platoon was ambushed in Sadr City in an attack that came to be known as "Black Sunday.”
This is an open invitation to the military/veteran community of the NYC area, but an RSVP is required for entry. Space is limited.
