Theater of War: Philoctetes

Theater of War presents Philoctetes at Flushing Library on January 17, 6-8pm. Featuring the actors: Hettienne Park, Paul Juhn, and Philippe Chang.

Theater of War is a free, interactive performance of scenes from ancient plays about the visible and invisible wounds caused by violence and war. The event is open to everyone, including veterans and their communities, students, artists, and concerned citizens. Each performance is followed by an audience discussion led by community panelists. This groundbreaking project is designed to promote understanding, compassion, and positive action. Translated, directed & facilitated by Bryan Doerries, Public Artist In Residence (PAIR), City of New York.
