Theater of War Productions: The Tecmessa Project

Theater of War presents Ajax on March 14, 7-9pm. Attend a dramatic theatrical reading of Sophocles’ Ajax, an ancient play about the visible and invisible wounds of war. The story centers on Tecmessa, wife of the warrior Ajax, and highlights the enduring impact of war on the home front. Featuring the actors: Kathryn Erbe, Peter Francis James, and Alex Morf.

Theater of War is a free, interactive performance of scenes from ancient plays about the visible and invisible wounds caused by violence and war. The event is open to everyone, including veterans and their communities, students, artists, and concerned citizens. Each performance is followed by an audience discussion led by community panelists. This groundbreaking project is designed to promote understanding, compassion, and positive action.
