Wurzweiler Care Cafe: Veterans Healing Through the Arts

Wurzweiler Care Café presents Back to Life... My Story and Yours: Veterans Healing & Reintegration Through the Arts with Patrick Donohue on January 17, 6-8pm.

Veteran Patrick Donohue served with the Army’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team “STRIKE” 101st Airborne Division in Afghanistan during the conflict’s bloodiest year. Now a father of three, returning law student, and inspirational speaker, he shares a personal journey of reintegration using a variety of art forms as tools for healing war trauma: “It is possible, we do get better, we are not broken.” From martial arts to stand-up comedy, Patrick gives hope for “veterans becoming civilians again” with power and purpose.

Light refreshments will be served.
