Join Our Research Study on Brain Structure, Mental Health, and Suicidality?

We are looking for healthy military veterans between the ages of 18-65 who do not have any major medical or mental health disorders

Participants will be compensated up to $825 for their participation. There is no cost to participate. This is a comparison research study. Transportation may be provided. The study involves:

• Interviews
• Questionnaires
• Mental health assessments
• Blood draws
  
• Brain scan (MRI)

The goal is to understand brain structure and mental health in Veterans at risk for suicide. The study will be conducted at James J. Peters VA Medical Center (130 Kingsbridge Road) in the MIRECC Office on the 4th Floor, Room #4B-52 as well as Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (1470 Madison Avenue) over the span of 12 months.
