Jewish Community Memorial Service

The UJA-Federation of New York presents the Jewish Community Memorial Service on May 23, 6:30pm. The evening features a memorial service and program honoring the lives of service members who were killed defending our country and those veterans who had a chance to live out their lives. Additionally, the program also pays tribute to the dedication of our active and retired service members of the United States Armed Services.

This year, you will hear from special guest speaker U.S. Army Colonel Jack Jacobs (retired), a Medal of Honor recipient for his actions during the Vietnam War.

Following the program, there will be a hands-on volunteer project sponsored by Major Stuart Adam Wolfer Institute (MSAWI) to assemble care packages for service members overseas.
