Sierra Club Military Outdoors offers a family-friendly Walk Over the Hudson on October 16, 10am-12pm.
This walk begins at 10am from the Poughkeepsie (east) side. Look for the Sierra Club Military Outdoors banner at the walkway entrance.
In partnership with the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Vet 2 Vet Program, on this outing for veterans and their families, explore the Walkway Over the Hudson. Plan to spend 1 – 1.5 hours walking on this easy out-and-back over the Hudson River. Dogs are allowed but should be kept on-leash in accordance with State Park rules.
