PBS NOVA Sleep Disorder TV Program

A TV production company currently working on a PBS NOVA TV program about sleep and sleep disorders, is looking to interview veterans who suffer from sleep issues (can’t fall asleep, wake up often, nightmares) due to PTSD (those who suffered a trauma during their deployment and one aspect of the PTSD syndrome that they suffer from affects their sleep).

Veterans who are willing to share their PTSD sleep issues on television are invited to contact the production company directly via email at: [email protected] and please note the following:

- This is a documentary science program for Public Television, not a commercial TV production, there is no financial compensation offered to participants. PBS does not allow payment for interviews in documentary programs. It is considered a violation of ethic codes to pay someone for an interview in a documentary program.

- Filming will be in mid-November in Manhattan at a location still TBD during working hours, and will require about half an hour for a short interview.

- Looking for diversity to show that these sleep issues are not gender/ethnic/age related - all are welcome.

Please respond to [email protected] if you wish to participate, and include a selfie and a short description of your sleep issue.
