The Sierra Club's Outings Leader Training prepares you to plan and lead outings in the NYC area as a volunteer with the Sierra Club. 

The training also helps to prepare you for organizing veterans from within your community to participate, teaches how to create just and equitable outdoor experiences, and the basics of wilderness risk management. Our training leverages the leadership and communication skills you developed while serving in the military while training you how to lead safe and enjoyable outings for the Sierra Club.
