New York Film Academy GI Bill Benefits

The US regionally accredited degree programs offered at New York Film Academy are now eligible for GI Bill benefits. Additionally, the New York campus is the newest approved location to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program.

NYFA's Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Filmmaking and Acting for Film have been added to the catalog of offered programs in New York, joining those approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs at their Los Angeles and South Beach campuses.

In many cases, individuals eligible at the 100% Post-911 GI Bill benefit level may have their tuition and fees covered in full by the YRP.

Across their US campuses, veterans may also apply their GI Bill Benefits to their 1-Year, 2-Year, or other Degree programs in the following areas of study:

  • Filmmaking
  • Acting for Film
  • Photography
  • Producing
  • Screenwriting
  • Documentary Filmmaking
  • Broadcast Journalism
