Fleet Follies Follies is an annual festival during Memorial Day weekend that brings military and civilian communities together for a day of celebration and entertainment by New York’s finest performers.
Each year, Fleet Week Follies hosts a Happy Hour where actors from NYC serve food and drinks and mingle with the crowd. This year, since we can’t gather in person over food and drink, Waterwell is hosting a series of informal conversations on May 23 called The Conversation Project. Conversations will take place at 1pm, 2:30pm and 4:30pm (EST).
Each conversation will have 8-9 participants, with a mix of people with a military affiliation, civilians and essential workers. Two co-facilitators, one from the NYC arts and entertainment world and one from the military, will host each “room” and invite everyone to participate, express themselves, and, share some experiences about life during COVID-19.
To sign up, click the link here. Answer a few questions about yourself – what you do, where you live, etc. They’ll curate groups of 8-10 people and send you an email to confirm your spot.
Please note that space for this project is limited. Signing up does not automatically guarantee you a spot, though the goal is to include as many people as possible. Look for an email with a confirmation to participate or a spot on the wait list.
