The Josephine Herrick Project is offering a free online course for veterans in the New York City area. The photography course will focus on creativity within the confines of social distancing and quarantine.
Every Tuesday 2-4pm, veterans will meet online to discuss photography with instructors Terry Karney and Yael ben-Zion. Each class will focus on speaking about the photographs the veterans have taken, the history of photography, and what photography looks like in times of a pandemic. No camera is required or knowledge of photography. The class will focus on the use of phones, ipads, and laptops as image-making devices.
