Volunteer Lawyers for Justice Veterans Legal Program

Volunteer Lawyers for Justice Veterans Legal Program offers free legal services for veterans who are facing issues that might have legal solutions, such as: New Jersey criminal records; suspended New Jersey driver’s licenses; problems with a New Jersey child support order; being contacted by debt collectors.

VLJ hosts free virtual clinics where you can meet with an attorney via phone or video to discuss any legal issues that concern you. You will discuss any issues or questions you have, and at the end of your appointment, you will receive an action plan with recommendations about how to move forward to resolve your legal issues.

To attend a virtual clinic you must:

  • Currently serve or have served in the military
  • Register for an appointment
  • Submit relevant paperwork to VLJ

To register, call 973-233-4257 or email Kim Garcia, [email protected]
