MTA Facility Maintainer Exam Filing

The MTA has an exam filing for Facility Maintainer (1300).

Facility Maintainers perform general facility and maintenance work at MTA bus depots, repair shops, buildings and facilities. They install, test, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and hearing systems. Perform minor carpentry, masonry work, and repair fire suppression and bus wash, lift, and fuel systems; change filters; paint, repair flooring and walls.

The last date of filing is August 31, 2020.

Veterans who served in the US Armed Forces who served in full-time active duty may be eligible for a fee waiver.

MTA offers make-up exams if an applicant is ordered to Military Duty.
