Resilient Warrior is a six-week virtual program offered to post 9/11 veterans and service members, while Resilient Family is offered to their adult family members and caregivers.
If you can dedicate 90 minutes a week, Hope For The Warriors’ trained facilitators will teach you empirically-proven resiliency and coping skills to invoke your body’s natural relaxation response.
The evidence-based curriculum consists of three core elements:
- Practicing relaxation response techniques, such as mindfulness, guided meditation and breathing techniques
- Increase awareness of stress and relaxation and its effects on the mind-body
- Adaptive strategies such as positive perspectives, social connectedness, healthy lifestyle behaviors, and cognitive re-appraisal and coping
