YSG Solar Inc. is hiring and is offering on the job training as part of the Con Edison Program under NYSERDA grant.
Solar Installer (NY1354378)
- Help install and mount solar panels on rooftop residential and commercial solar installations. Handle mechanical installation and work with licensed electrician to help with electrical work.
Solar Sales Customer Support (NY1354383)
- Manage support tickets within the YSG support portal. Gather information regarding customer concerns and attempt to help the client by phone. Communicate with manufacturers and other professionals to help solve the problem. As needed, make site visits to address the customer concern.
Solar Sales Professional (NY1354380)
- Help prospect potential customers by phone that are interested in solar panel installations. Gather the necessary information to share a full presentation with the prospective customer. Share information in accordance with NABCEP Solar Sales Professional certification manual.
Solar Site Surveyor (NY1354379)
- Visit each home prior to a solar installation. Gather necessary information for the engineering team to prepare a full set of blueprints. Measure the roof and inspect the integrity of the roof. Inspect the electrical panel.
Pay rates range from $15-25 per hour.
