Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (ConEdison) is seeking candidates for a Field Operations Planner position. This is a full-time position that is not available on the ConEdison career website but is open to veterans.
Candidates must have a driver's license
Required education/experience:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years work experience OR
Associate's degree and 6 years work experience OR
High school diploma/GED and 7 years work experience
Required work experience:
Technical experience and working knowledge of the installation, maintenance, repair and operation of the Transmission, Distribution and Auxillary equipment located in a SSO substation
Supervisory experience
Working knowledge of the Dielectric Fluid System and its substation located components
A thorough working knowlege of SSO's, GEI's and Substation Operating Procedures as well as the Maximo/Engage Work Management System
Experience in operations or as a Station Operator
Candidates must:
possess strong decision making skills and strong communication skills
have the ability to work effectively with others in a cross-departmental platform
be familiar with Substation Operations Physical and Cyber Securty requirements and procedures
have experience delivering Job Briefing and perfroming JSSE's
be well versed in Human Performance Improvement tools and coaching employees
