Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (ConEdison) is seeking candidates for a Maintenance and Construction Supervisor position.  This is a full-time position that is not available on the ConEdison career website but is open to veterans.

Licenses & certifications required:

Driver's license

NYC S-95 certification 1 year

NYC S-12 certification 1 year

Respirator Fit Test 1 year

Required education/experience:

Bachelor's degree and 2 years operations, maintenance, or construction of power generation, transmission, or distribution equipment or equivalent education/experience OR

Associate's degree and 4 years operations, maintenance, or construction of power generation, transmission, or distribution equipment or equivalent education/experience OR

High school diploma/GED and 5 years operations, maintenance, or construction of power generation, transmission, or distribution equipment or equivalent education/experience

Candidates must:

be able to exercise independent judgement and be able to render sound business decisions

be detail oriented, able to work under pressure and handle multiple concurrent assignments

have strong oral and written communication skills, good presentation skills, and the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external customers, support staff, and various levels of management and union

must be computer literate and be able to apply practical applications in Excel, Word, PowerPoint

must be famliar with scheduling and work management systems, such as Maximo, DataSplice, Engage, and Primavera P6 (preferred qualification)
