Blue Star Families has opened its Understanding the Diverse Experiences of Military Families of Color Survey. Even if you have taken the BSF 2021 Survey, they would like military families of color to take a few minutes to take this survey as well.
Why should I participate in this survey?
This is an opportunity for BSF to hear from you and get your candid feedback and stories. Through this survey, they hope to gain a more holistic understanding of military life and the service experiences of military-connected families of color. In addition, they can use what they learn and the feedback they gain to inspire change that will benefit and improve the experiences of all military-connected families.
I feel like I shared my experiences on the #BSFSurvey. Do I need to take this?
Yes! This is a groundbreaking survey. For the first time, they are specifically asking military-connected families of color about their experiences. Your feedback will help highlight the experiences of military-connected families of color. In short, the more you share your stories with us, the more we can work together to inform change.
Who should take the survey?
Our community is made up of racially and ethnically diverse families. What’s more, our experiences are also unique. That’s why they welcome military-connected families of color and multiracial families to participate in this survey.
Do you have to be a Blue Star Families member to take it?
No, you don’t have to be a member to take the assessment. If you have friends or family who might also benefit, we encourage you to share this with them as well.
How long is the survey open?
June 28th - July 28th, 2021
Will my answers be shared?
The survey is completely confidential. Only aggregate (group) responses will be reported. Any *optional* text responses are de-identified.
What’s in it for me?
In addition to telling your story to bring about positive change for your family and other military-connected individuals, you’ll have a chance to receive one of 20 $50 gift cards!
