Volunteers Needed for the 40th National Veteran Wheelchair Games

The 40th National Veteran Wheelchair Games is in need of volunteers in NYC.

The National Veterans Wheelchair Games is the largest annual wheelchair sporting event in the world, presented by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). VA and PVA are proud to team up with the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System to host the 40th National Veterans Wheelchair Games (NVWG) in New York City this August 7-14. This year, 2021, marks a significant milestone of 40 years empowering our nation’s Veterans to live healthy and active lives through adaptive sports and recreation. Considering the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic over the past year, coming together as a community in New York as well as across the country through the atHOME competitions, makes this year’s NVWG even more special.
