The Army Installation Management Command is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant at Fort Hamilton in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.  This position is located within the Fort Hamilton MWR Community Club. This position is a Flexible (Flex) position. You may be regularly scheduled or scheduled on an as needed basis, but there are no guaranteed hours. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits.  Salary is $15.68 to $18.28 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc.

Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records.

Keeps work area clean and orderly.

Maintains related cash records.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Applicants must:

Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
