The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Pace University's Lubin School of Business will host a three-part webinar series on Online Sales Strategies.
In response to COVID-19, entrepreneurs are leveraging the internet to generate new customer leads and sales channels. Selling online gives you access to millions of potential customers, and with a little re-framing, this webinar series can help you tap into your talents to provide additional revenue streams. In this three-part series, Pace University Adjunct Professor Julie Gauthier will cover online sales techniques and tools, drawing on her experience selling web development tutoring services, distributing digital learning materials, and operating an online custom gift shop.
Registration gives you access to all three sessions. Attend all or the ones most relevant to where you are.
Wednesday, January 19, 1-2pm EST
Part 1: Selling Services Online
What do your friends go to you for advice for, or compliment you on? How can you translate that knowledge, or those innate talents, into an online business? Is it a service or product? In this session, Gauthier will lead a brainstorm and cover strategies for taking your business online and which platforms are available.
Wednesday, January 26, 1-2pm EST
Part 2: Selling Digital Products Online
Do you want to distribute your writing, art, tutorials, books, music, software, and other media far and wide? In this session, you will learn how to translate the value that your products or services bring to other people and how to turn them into digital content to distribute online, in addition to a look at tools to sell them.
Wednesday, February 2, 1-2pm EST
Part 3: Selling Physical Products Online
In this session, you will learn how to create an online shopping experience that brings in customers and drives them to make purchases. Gauthier will also share her experience selling highly-customized handmade goods and demonstrate platforms and approaches to selling physical products online.
