Free Tickets to Hunter College Theater Department Live Performance

Hunter College Theater Department invites military, veterans, and families to its production of Eugene O'Neill's Hughie FREE of charge!

Eugene O’Neill’s one-act masterpiece HUGHIE is set in the early hours of the morning in the summer of 1928. The play takes place in the lobby of a seedy hotel in Manhattan. A down on his luck gambler, Erie Smith and the Night Clerk, fight off loneliness and despair. This production uses the original stage directions to shine a new light on O’Neill’s world.

Evening showtimes will be Wednesday-Saturday (June 1-4 & 8-11) at 7:30PM with doors opening at 7:00PM. Matinee showtimes will be Sunday (June 5 & 12) at 3:00PM with doors opening at 2:30PM. This show runs approximately 60min with no intermission.

Full vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of negative PCR test within 72 hours of the performance will be required at the door. Masks required for all audience attendees.
