Check to see if you are registered:

Primary Election Days June 28th and August 23rd (6am to 9pm)

Registration/Application deadlines are written below.

Early Voting Period is June 18th - June 26th, 2022 (at various hours).

Tuesday, June 28, 2022 for Senate, Governor, Attorney General, and Lieutenant Governor

Tuesday, August 23, 2022 for U.S. congressional and state senate seats

Deadline Dates:

June 3: Last day to register to vote for the state office primary https://vote.nyc/page/register-vote

Last day to register in person is June 3, 2022

Last day to postmark application is June 3rd and received by board of elections by June 8th

June 13: Last day to request absentee ballot for state office primary https://nycabsentee.com/

June 28: Primary election for state offices (Polls are open from 6am to 9pm)

July 29: Last day to register for the congressional primary election

Aug. 8: Last day to request absentee ballot for congressional primary

Aug. 23: Primary election for congressional offices (Polls are open from 6am to 9pm)

If in the military or residing overseas

If history of incarceration

NYS voting rights are restored automatically after release from prison and discharge from parole.

Voters concerned about exposure to COVID-19 are eligible to vote absentee throughout the year

General Election Day is Tuesday, November 8, 2022 (6am - 9pm)

Early Voting Period is October 29, 2022 - November 6, 2022.

Last day to register to vote in person is October 14, 2022

Last day to postmark application is October 14th and it must be received by October 19, 2022
