Con Edison is seeking a Chief Construction Inspector.  This is a full-time position.

Required Education/Experience:

High School Diploma/GED And 5 years field construction experience is required Or

Associate's Degree And 4 years field construction experience; OR Or

Bachelor's Degree And 2 years field construction experience

Preferred Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Business or Architecture preferred And 2 years field construction experience

Required Work Experience:

Strong interpersonal, communication, written, and presentation skills Required

Fundamental background in construction management and be knowledgeable in electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical, construction or Operations Preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Words, Excel, Powerpoint, Access database, etc.) and Oracle is required; proficiency and knowledge of ProjectWise, Auto-CAD, Micro-station, Microsoft Projects, Primavera, MAXIMO, and/or Oracle Work Management System is preferred Preferred

Knowledge of DOT Code and permit requirements Preferred

Knowledge of contract administration procedures, inspection and cost control Pref

Ability to interpret basic information on drawings.
