This workshop will identify what employers are looking for during an interview and allow participants to practice responses to commonly asked interview questions. This workshop is for jobseekers that have a resume and demonstrate inexperience in going on interviews or have been repeatedly unsuccessful during recent, interviews.

Virtual Create a Resume Workshop
This workshop provides a detailed explanation, as well step-by-step processes, for creating an effective resume. A resume is a brief document that summarizes your education, employment history, and experiences that are relevant to your qualifications for a particular job for which you are applying. This workshop is for jobseekers that need to create a new resume.
Participants will:
Obtain the knowledge needed to build an effective resume, a critical component of getting a job
Become familiar with laying out, formatting and building a resume
Access follow-up support from a Career Advisor
Virtual Resume Upgrade Workshop
This workshop provides a detailed explanation, as well step-by-step processes, for updating and upgrading your resume. This workshop is for jobseekers that have a resume but want to update any recent employment or additional information.
Participants will:
Receive the tools necessary to create an effective resume, cover letter and references package
Become familiar with laying out, formatting and building a resume
Access follow-up support from a Career Advisor
