Attend the 22 PTSD Awareness Challenge on August 30, where non-profits paddle 22 miles from Connecticut to Long Island via kayak to raise awareness for veterans with PTSD and the 22 veterans who kill themselves every day.

Non-profits are welcome to paddle in one of 22 kayaks. The kayak trip meets at 9am in Bridgeport, CT, and ends at 4pm in Port Jefferson, NY.

After the event, there will be a reception, 4-7pm, at the Village Centennial Center, with information tables from numerous Veterans non-profit organizations, as well as refreshments.

The event is designed to bring veterans together to increase PTSD and suicide rate awareness.
