The National September 11 Memorial & Museum will pay tribute to our country’s veterans during a special five-day Salute to Service from November 9 through November 13. A series of events and special programs will be available on the memorial for veterans and their families, as well as the visiting public. Throughout our tribute, veterans will receive free museum admission. Veterans will also receive half price museum tickets for up to two family members during the tribute. Ticketing for Salute to Service will be available at a dedicated ticket window at the museum entrance.
November 11
Yellow roses will be placed in the names of those killed on 9/11 who had served in the military. Roses will be placed by Team Red, White & Blue.
11am - In observance of Veterans Day, the United States Naval Academy Women's Glee Club will perform patriotic and sacred music on the 9/11 Memorial.
12p.m - The museum's auditorium will feature a live talk titled, "The Stories They Tell: World Trade Center Steel in Afghanistan," by Dr. Andrew Hammond, a Mellon Foundation Postdoctoral fellow.

Heroes at Home: Military Family Appreciation
10:30am - 3:30pm - In the museum's education center activities will focus on themes of heroism and patriotism.
