    55th Annual Queens County Council Legislative Breakfast

    Join the Queens County Council of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for their Annual Legislative Breakfast on December 14, 9-11:30am.

    This event is your opportunity to hear from members of the Queens County Delegation of each chamber to include the New York City Council, New York State Senate and Assembly, as well as U.S. Representatives as they share their position on key issues of importance to the Veterans of Queens and New York City.

    Suggested $10 donation includes breakfast.

    Mission Continues Wreaths Across America

    The Mission Continues Queens Platoon supports Wreaths Across America at Cypress Hills National Cemetery on December 14, 11:30am-3:30pm, to remember and honor our veterans through the laying of remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

    Purple Heart Reunited Foundation Ceremony

    Purple Heart Reunited Foundation reunites lost Purple Hearts with their owners or families and will hold ceremonies on December 15, 2-5pm. SSG Michael Ollis VFW Post 9587 will be presented with PVT William F. Murray's framed Purple Heart where it will be honored for years to come.

    The County of Hudson and Catholic Charities a Veteran Stakeholders Meeting on December 17, 1-3:30pm. The event is open to veteran providers as a way to network. Anyone who has services or contact with veterans are encouraged to attend. Bring non-perishable food for the VetCenter food bank.
