    Team RWB Virtual Eagle Nation Live! Running Roundtable

    Team RWB brings you a Virtual Eagle Nation Live! Running Roundtable on July 18, 10am (EST). Are you having a hard time maintaining your training or finding motivation with so much uncertainty right now? Don't miss this session featuring professional runner Brandon Hudgins and his coach James Snyder. Brandon is an Olympic Trials qualifier in the 1500 meters, sub-4-minute miler, and accomplished all this while battling an autoimmune disease called Vasculitis. These two are experts not only in training and racing and in dealing with unpredictability. Make sure to submit your questions ahead of time.

    TRR Train the Trainers Workshop

    Attend TRR's Train the Trainers Workshop (part one) on July 18, 2-4pm. The 2020 Series is designed to orient those in the veteran service community to Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in the repair of Military Moral Injury and also to enhance the training of equine therapy facilitators.

    Housing Accommodations Rights for People with Disabilities

    Hope And Victory Evolves (H.A.V.E.) and New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI) present online training for Housing Accommodations Rights of People with Disabilities on July 21, 1:30-3:30pm. The session is designed for civilians & veterans, youth/adults/seniors, family-go-to-persons, clients, peer educators, advocates, case managers, health & housing resource/service providers, community leaders, and others.

    The event will share information and available resources to help people with disabilities and the aging to live independently and safely in their activities of daily living (ADLs), at home, as best they can for as long as they can.

    Travis Manion Foundation Summer Reading Session

    Summer can be a great opportunity to get in some reading. Through a new virtual effort, Travis Manion Foundation's Northeast team will offer opportunities for your child to participate in conversations about new stories, while discussing character and leadership skills.

    TMF Character Does Matter mentor and Gold Star Spouse Robyn Magee-Skinner will lead a conversation about the book Catching the Moon, by Crystal Hubbard on July 23, 10am (EST). This inspiring story is based on the childhood of Marcenia “Toni Stone” Lyle Alberga, an African-American girl who grew up to become the first woman to play for an all-male professional baseball team. The group will view a read-along recording of the book, available here:
