    TRR Train the Trainers Workshop

    Attend TRR's Train the Trainers Yoga for Military Moral Injury© Repair Workshop on November 21, 2-5pm (EST). This training will focus on the repair of Moral Injury in a military population. 

    Many veterans are struggling with Military Moral Injury and not PTSD. Join TRR and they will show you how to see the difference and what to do. This workshop is a virtual experience due to Covid-19. They will teach how to engage military veterans and first responders – as a group – to address the challenges of service, and to repair relationships with family and community by focusing on Military Moral Injury repair on the yoga mat.

    Travis Manion Foundation Virtual Character Discussions

    Travis Manion Foundation offers a Virtual Character Discussion (for 6th to 12th graders) on December 2, 3pm (EST). TMF's Northeast team offers opportunities for your child to participate in conversations about character, service and leadership through both guided discussions and story readings.

    Character Does Matter strengthens character and leadership skills in young adults. Grounded in the evidence-based field of Positive Psychology, the program uses a strengths-based approach to foster character traits in the next generation through a combination of informal discussions and activity-based learning. By sharing stories of real people who exemplify great character and leadership, Character Does Matter demonstrates what it means to live the “If Not Me, Then Who…” ethos – and challenges students to do the same.

    Military Officers Association of America offers a virtual seminar: Maximize Your Overall Compensation Package on December 9, 1-4pm (EST). Join MOAA’s financial and benefits expert Capt. Paul J. Frost, AFC®, USN (Ret), and MOAA’s senior director for transition services, Col. Brian Anderson, USAF (Ret), for a live and interactive virtual classroom. The event is open to transitioning servicemembers, veterans, and military spouses. 

    The salary and benefits negotiation process is unlike any other formal negotiating you might have done, such as with cars or homes. Moreover, your conduct during the negotiation process will directly affect your relationship with your future employer. The employer wants you to be happy, but it is up to you to articulate what will give you the greatest job and personal satisfaction.
