The Bronx Vet Center is proud to bring back Sergeant’s Time: VA Mobile Mental Health Applications on April 20, 6-7pm (EST). These are monthly virtual presentations on a variety of topics of interest open to all combat eras, genders, and caregivers.

OnlineSisters in the Brotherhood Apprenticeship Info Session
Sisters in the Brotherhood offers a Pre-Apprentice Program, which can lead to a five-year apprenticeship program with the carpenters union allowing you to earn while you learn. The Sisters are particularly supportive of women, minorities, and veterans who never thought about carpentry as a career.

Knights of Columbus in Clifton, NJ11th Annual Army Tank Pull

OnlineHiring Our Heroes AMPLIFY Spouse Intensive
Join Hiring Our Heroes for the two-day virtual AMPLIFY Spouse Career Intensive on July 29, 8:30am-3:45pm (EST) and July 30, 8:30am-1:45pm (ET). The event leads a cohort of military spouses through intensive career preparation, professional development, and networking. AMPLIFY attendees will leave with an improved resume, a professional photo, a polished LinkedIn profile, and a professional network of fellow military spouses and employers.
Attendees will be given the opportunity to:
- Connect with a hand-picked career coach or industry leader
- Participate in interactive sessions on public/professional speaking, salary negotiations, networking skills, personal branding, interview techniques, and military spouse entrepreneurial options
- Interact with local and national employers and companies
Registration is required as cohort size is limited to ensure each attendee is given one-on-one attention. Registrants will be notified of acceptance into the program and given further instructions via email following initial registration. Acceptance is on a first-come, first-served basis.
