    Team RWB brings you a Virtual Eagle Nation Live! Vinyasa Yoga on August 12, 8-9am (EST). Join Eagles across the country for a live-stream energizing Vinyasa flow led by Air Force veteran and Team RWB Yoga Ambassador, Kristi Sieben. Vinyasa yoga connects the breath with movement and can help refocus and recenter to prepare for the day. All levels welcome! You'll need a yoga mat or a towel, water, and comfortable clothing.

    TechCongress Congressional Innovation Fellowship Info Call

    TechCongress holds an Informational Call regarding the 2021 Congressional Innovation Fellowship on August 12, 2-3pm (EST). 

    They are searching for talented technologists, engineers, and data analysts who are passionate about bringing their technical expertise to Congress to help shape current and future tech policy.

    New York City's Department of Citywide Administrative Services and New York State Department of Labor offer a virtual NYC Civil Service 101 Information Session on August 12, 2:30-4pm.

    This is a great opportunity to see how veterans can apply for jobs with benefits, healthcare, and use your experience to serve the City of New York!
    These sessions will provide attendees with information on how to: 
    • Use veteran credits to add points when you take a City exam.
    • Use veteran benefits and waive the exam fee plus more.
    • Job opportunities for people with disabilities.
    • Show how to navigate through the websites, take an exam, and apply to jobs

    Warrior Writers Virtual Workshop

    Attend the Warrior Writers Virtual Workshop on August 12, 7-9pm (EST). This generative creative writing workshop will offer prompts that cover a variety of military issues and experiences. This encourages sharing stories, opinions, and ideas for productive writing/reflecting/story-telling and art-making. A highlight of these workshops for many veterans is having a space to release bottled-up thoughts and emotions among others who understand, creating a sense of empowerment in the ability to tell their own story. By creating an open and accepting atmosphere, Warrior Writers build a community of support. Workshops are for any service member or veteran regardless of experiences with writing, combat, art, deployment, etc.

    PGIM Veteran Internship Cohort Info Session

    Join PGIM for the Veteran Internship Cohort next summer and learn what it's all about with an Info Session on August 14, 12-1:30pm (EST).

    As a member of the 2021 Summer Internship Class, you will receive a unique combination of project-based and role-specific work experience, exposure to executives from across the company, and an ongoing series of professional development, community service, and exceptional networking events. You will be paired with Mentors and Office Buddies from your business group. Members of the cohort can also participate in a curated suite of veteran focused programming that spans the 10-week internship program.
