The Cespino Russo American Legion Post #1544 will hold a Flag Day Concert with The Patriot Brass Ensemble on Monday, June 14, 1pm.

Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United Sates on June 14, 1777 by resolution of The Second Continental Congress.  In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation that officially established June 14 as Flag Day.  The United States Army also celebrates its birthday on this date.  Congress adopted "the American Continental Army" on June 14, 1775.  Join the American Legion Post #1544 in honoring our flag, celebrating the birthday of the US Army and enjoying the sounds of The Patriot Brass Ensemble.  A FREE LUNCH will be provided.  Families and children are all welcome!

Muster time: 12 noon

Concert start time: 1pm

This is an OUTDOOR event.  Tents and chairs will be set up but you are welcome to bring your own chairs.  If you do choose to bring your own chairs, please see someone from the FDNY before moving any chairs that have already been set up.
