This Memorial Day, tune-in to Ancestry's virtual Parade of Heroes on May 25, 11am (EST), to honor those who gave their lives for our freedom, and celebrate their service - with special guests and tributes.
In a 45-minute live production, the parade will memorialize the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II and bring to life stories of strength and hope through exclusive veteran interviews and special tributes.
Hosted by Emmy award-winning television personality Kathie Lee Gifford, the parade will also feature musical performances by two-time GRAMMY award-winning singer-songwriter Tori Kelly + more, and an opportunity to share your story and meet others in the live community chat.
To honor your veteran from home before, during, and after the parade, you are invited to share your veteran's story in a post on your own Instagram or Facebook. Tag Ancestry in the photo of your veteran, add #RememberAtHome and @Ancestry, and your story could be featured on their pages when the parade continues on social media afterwards!
RSVP to Ancestry's Facebook event with "Going" to be notified with all updates and when the parade is live.
Ancestry thanks their partners HISTORY, Wounded Warrior Project, The Greatest Generations Foundation, Heroes of the Second World War, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A., and Combined Arms for collaborating to honor those who have sacrificed everything to secure our freedom. Even while apart, we come together to remember and show gratitude for everything they’ve given us.
