Join us on our very first snowshoe hike of the year! Located in the Catskills Mountain Range, this beginner-friendly snowshoe hike will bring us to the top of Codfish Point, a beautiful and historic viewpoint of the area!

Distance: 4.17 miles
Duration: 3 - 4 hours

You'll meet Henri at the Huckleberry Point Trailhead parking lot on Platte Clove Road at 10 AM on Sunday, February 19th.
Please note that the Eastern section of Platte Clove Road is closed until April, so you need to take the route through Tannersville. We recommend carpooling if able.
Make sure to check the weather before leaving and dress appropriately. We will be providing snowshoes and trekking poles for everyone, but if you plan to bring your own, you can let us know in the signup form.
For this outing, we recommend bringing:
- At least 64oz (2 liters) of water
- Waterproof shoes
- Winter layers
- Hand warmers
- A lunch and a few snacks
- A bag
