The Actors Theatre Workshop (ATW) will host Coming Together Through Creativity, an interactive, virtual class on Wednesday, July 21, 7pm (Eastern Time), led by ATW Artistic Director and Founder, Thurman W. Scott.
Mr. Scott will share insights and techniques to bring people of different backgrounds and beliefs together, and help us accept each other. When diverse people join together they feel their power and encourage others to speak up. Connection and unity give us energy, and the courage to accept our individuality and common bonds. Now is our chance to develop new tools to meet the challenges ahead and reshape our country.
This interactive session will include a lecture and an open dialog where you can ask a master theatre artist questions about today’s issues and ways to use creative techniques in your own life. Mr. Scott will teach simple creative exercises that will help us change the energy of fear and uncertainty often experienced in times of change, to the energy of hope and possibility.
Creativity is a powerful force and tool in times of great change. Join this inspiring class to learn how to harness this tool and use it to effect positive change.
