In 2018, AWA will be honoring the 369th Infantry Regiment Harlem Hellfighters and the prestigious Soldier for Life recipient will be U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran Mr. Harry G. Robinson, III.

Mr. Robinson served as a Ranger-qualified Combat Unit Commander in South Vietnam, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant and earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. About being selected as the recipient of the Soldier for Life award, Mr. Robinson says, “The elegance and power of the word “Soldier” has inspired me since my childhood. Everything that I have achieved was developed from my military service, from high school ROTC through Vietnam. Of all the titles I have had, “Soldier,” is the one I am most proud of.”
