Blue Star Families' Outdoor Explorers for All (OEA) Club invites you to join them via Zoom at Great Basin National Park for a Dark Skies Event on Saturday, July 31, 6pm (Eastern Time).
Participate in this event to learn about the amazing things you can see in the night sky and why "half the park is after dark.” Discover why animals, plants, and even people need darkness, and virtually visit the Great Basin Observatory, the only research-grade astronomical telescope located in a national park.
Great Basin National Park has some of the darkest, clearest, and most stable dark skies in the contiguous United States. They’re not only out of this world but they are also stellar! No matter where you live, you can always find a way to visit the wilderness of the cosmos.
So, what are you waiting for?! Sign up today!
Once you’ve signed up through Eventbrite, you’ll receive an email with the Zoom link details to join the event. Please make sure to check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see this in your inbox.
