Blue Star Families (BSF) Outdoor Explorers for All (OEA) will lead a two-part virtual Arctic Adventure. Part I, Trailhead Talk, will be held on Saturday, September 18, 3pm Eastern Time.
Did you know that the Arctic Refuge hosts birds that migrate around the world and to all 50 states? During this virtual trailhead talk, OEA's exciting guest speaker – Arctic Refuge expert and birder Dan Ritzman – will teach you more about that! You’ll also have the chance to learn about some of the birds you might see in your own communities during your individual outdoor adventure. When you come back together around the virtual campfire, some new friends will be flying in to meet you!: Raptor friends and staff from Earth Conservation Corps.
Families will have the time between the virtual trailhead talk and virtual campfire to head out on their individual outdoor adventures. You’ll then come back together around the virtual campfire on Sunday, September 26, 3pm EST.
Register here for both parts of this exciting adventure!
