This year marks the 77th anniversary of the end of World War II and what better place to show our appreciation for our WWII Veterans than at the Crossroads of the World.
Join us Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 1:15 p.m. at Military Island on 43rd St &, 7th Ave to witness this momentous occasion and be transported back to the days when these heroes wore the uniform and so valiantly and selflessly fought to protect our freedoms for generations to come.
Various billboards, including Nasdaq, ABC, Morgan Stanley, and One Times Square, will display archival images from the National WWII Museum’s expansive collection.
The event will include a series of songs to commemorate the occasion sung by baritone singer Eddie Pleasant, who will be accompanied by award-winning composer and pianist Dina Pruzhansky and a dramatic reading from a member of the DE-CRUIT Veteran Theater Company.
This outdoor event is free and open to the public.
