Columbia University is offering Columbia Veterans Workshop in person on campus in Dodge Hall, Room 407, on Thursday, November 18, 5:30-7:30pm (EST).
This is a free creative writing course open to all Columbia affiliates who are veterans or military family members. Students will have the opportunity to learn about craft, be workshopped by their peers, and receive written feedback on their writing from instructors. There will be works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and anything else of interest! Plus, plenty of in-class writing exercises. The class will also feature veteran guest speakers, who will talk to students about their work in the professional literary realm.
This course is open to people of all levels working in any genre; from first-timers to published writer.
