Swords to Plowshares and the Alameda County Veterans Mental Health Collaborative invite you to a discussion on Culturally Congruent Approaches to Veteran Mental Health Care on Wednesday, February 23, 1:00pm-2:30pm.
Attendees will learn how to better tailor services to underserved veterans and be more inclusive of their cultural values, experiences, and beliefs. Speakers will discuss Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services’ behavior health equity initiatives, and culturally specific mental health care approaches for Native Americans, Black veterans, and veterans of color.
There will be time for Q&A, discussion, and collaboration among attendees. They invite you to participate even if you haven't attended a collaborative meeting before.
